Unpainted castings #2 |
... This is fine as we're just getting into the period, likely we'll do Border Rievers and the wider Anglo-Scots conflicts of the time but at least one member wants to bring in the Spanish and their Armada, so who knows where it'll end up.
Figures are based on 20mm disks (pennies) and leaders on 25mm disks (2p pieces)
Garrison Men with halibards, two ordinary ranks and a leader on the bigger base.
Suitable for the Border regions ...
|
And the same guys form behind |
'Big Tom' and the villagers, peasants that will form the
rear ranks of any Elizabethan age English army
|
The villagers form behind |
Two dandies with expensive Muskets and outfits, to boost the firing line of any army |
And again form the rear |
Various troops armed with a Caliver (type of early carbine).
The guy on the left is a Scot, the others could be in any army
|
And Finally the rear shot again |
Sorry this entry isn't as 'chatty' as usual but as reminded before, we're in the last week of the challenge, painting time is precious so less words more paint!
Hopefully another batch will get done in time for one final post!
