Southern reaction to General Starbucks "Goatee "
On seeing General Starbucks recent photogenic drawing in the New York Illustrated news I had to caution the men of Heck's Brigade that all new recruits need to visit the brigade barber within their first 24 hours to have their hair cut and beards trimmed in time for evening parade.
I have however reminded everyone that: “Shaving is for pussies, quite literally ! Furthermore, unlike other parts of your body, your beard can be as long as you’d like it to be - but as long as you are in the Yankee Army !. "
