In a rare statement from Major General John Henry Clayton, this well known Georgian officer comments on his part in the recent Battle of Chickamauga, fought on his home state soil, his first return home in three long years of war.

General Clayton’s words are taken from that other great commander of battlefield tactics and strategy; one J Caesar.
